Angela and Chris’s Paxton Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

YOU GUYS. Any couple who gives each other hand drawn doodles of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on their wedding day is a couple for me. It’s sweet, it’s fun, it’s a little nerdy. All my favorite things. And also… that Paxton Ballroom rooftop is guaranteed money at sunset. There’s no going wrong with it.

And there’s no going wrong with Jennie Davis Photography as a second shooter! You all know I love that girl.

Jon and Kristi’s Aspen Room Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Regular blogging has fallen by the wayside as Fall has been in full on crazy mode. It’s like when you only have 30 minutes alone without your kid and husband at home and you can either vacuum and change the laundry or sit on the couch and watch 1/3 of a Paul Rudd movie… You choose the most important task and start there. So, it’s been non-stop editing and emailing round these parts. But I’d be a fool if I didn’t catch you up on some of the stuff I’ve been shooting lately.

Like this seriously awesome and adorable couple… Shot with the seriously awesome Jennie Davis Photography.

Trish and Sean’s St. Marys and Mastercraft Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Trish and Sean’s St. Marys and Mastercraft Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Super cool Trish and Sean were married last month at downtown Omaha’s St. Mary’s church and the relatively new and amazing reception venue, The Livingroom at The Mastercraft building. Maybe I’m biased since my studio is in the same building, but The Livingroom is a really great venue! It was my first time shooting there and I absolutely loved it.

These guys were so much fun, so cute, so happy. It was basically one of those weddings where you couldn’t ask for anything better!

Samantha and Matt’s Elmwood Park Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Whoa. Samantha and Matt. You want to talk about a gorgeous couple who had a gorgeous wedding? Well, okay then. Take a look at this. An insanely hot August day wasn’t going to put a damper on this day. Sam was stunning. Matt was handsome. The details were unbelievable. I’m a believer in pink after this wedding!

And THANK YOU to Aaron Zavitz Photography for shooting this one with me. Not many people can stand to wear a bow tie in 100 degree weather. But Aaron can. And he shoots amazing photos while doing it.

Leslie and Allen’s 1316 Beer Themed Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

When Leslie and Allen first hired me to shoot their engagement wedding photos last year, we discovered a strange connection. Allen is actually related to me – like a distant cousin I’d never met. Then we did their engagement photos and it was like “Ok, yes. I was meant to shoot this wedding.” These guys are insanely fun and adorable.

AND THEN CAME THEIR WEDDING DAY!

Dude, it was beer themed. BEER THEMED. And it was designed by Lovestru.ck! So it was just completely out of this world. Pardon me for the giant photo dump that you’re about to witness but really, who can blame me?

Thanks to Jennie Davis for shooting this one with me! It was her worst nightmare to shoot a beer themed wedding so luckily she held it together and did an amazing job. (Just kidding… Jennie loves beer.)

Cassidy and Michael’s Durham Museum Wedding

Cassidy and Michael traveled all the way from Singapore to Omaha, Nebraska to celebrate their wedding in Cassidy’s home town. They were married in a 100 year old church and celebrated their reception at the Durham Museum, a retired art deco train station. This day was full of the most incredible details. Everything had such a classic, timeless touch to it right down to Cassidy and Michael themselves. They seriously look like British royalty!

Wow. Jenny and Steven were married the last weekend of May out at Mahoney State Park before packing up and moving to Detroit. WOW, again, right? They had a small celebration with all their favorite people – making it a wedding slash going-away extravaganza. They planned one of the all-time prettiest weddings I’ve ever seen…

Andrea and Dan’s Downtown Holland Wedding | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Everyone says their wedding day was the happiest, most perfect day. And for Dan and Andrea, that was absolutely true. They were married at the Holland Center (Holy cow, everyone get married there, okay?) and receptioned it up at Top Top Ballroom. This was seriously one of the more gorgeous and fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of being at.

Awesome Jennie Davis killed it per the usual. (Guuuuuurl, she rocked those balcony shots.)
