It’s always a nice change of pace to go to another town to shoot a session. It’s not always nice to be met with a storm once you get there. BUT… but. Sometimes a storm is just what you need to end the shoot with a bang (and 2000 ISO outside at 7pm).

Brian and Tracey are urban farmers here in Omaha (with a seriously awesome CSA called Fork N Farm) so it was only fitting that they celebrated getting married with a country wedding in a barn. They used their friends and family for everything from the officiant to the catering, so their wedding was truly an act of love on behalf of everyone that came. After getting to spend some time with these two, it’s easy to see why everyone was more than happy to contribute to their celebration. Brian and Tracey are definitely two of the best ever!
Huge thanks to the awesome Tony Bonacci for second shooting and providing road trip tunes!
Mckenzie and Korey got married over the summer in one of the cutest, most stylish, sparkliest (is that a word?) weddings of the year. It was as adorable as they are.
Big thanks to Jennie Davis for being an awesome second shooter!
These two have to much energy, so much joy, so much life… These photos speak for themselves. This day was just a giant crazy blur of fun. Tasha and Garrett are a wonderful, wonderful couple. Their gorgeous wedding was just day one in a lifetime of incredible days for them.
Thanks and fist bumps to Jennie Davis Photography for second shooting!
I love my usual shooting spots, but I also L-O-V-E shooting somewhere new. (Or new to me at least!) I recently met with Mckenzie and Korey in Lincoln to shoot their engagement photos. We hit up the Haymarket and Pioneer’s Park. Umm. Gorgeous. It was one of those summer nights where it was sunny and gorgeous all day, then a late storm rolled right around sunset, making the sky look just absolutely bonkers.
AMY AND STEVE! I have to shout your names because I love you so much. For anyone not familiar with Amy and Steve, they are two of the most adorable and wonderful people ever. They were married at Lincoln’s St. Patrick’s church and celebrated at Grand Manse. And helloooooo Grand Manse. That place is lovely!
Congrats you two!
And as always, thank yoooooooou Jennie Davis for being the most marvelous second shooter ever.
Emily and Adam and definitely two of the happiest people I’ve ever met. We first chatted over Skype so I had no idea how illuminated these two are in each others’ presence until we met to shoot their engagement photos. Their wedding day was no different. From their first look until the last dances at the reception, they didn’t stop smiling. They are truly inspirational people and I feel my life is better for having met them.
Huge thank you to the lovely and wonderful and talented Trin Jensen for shooting Emily and Adam’s wedding with me!
Leah and John were recently married in Lincoln! She was a gooooorgeous bride, he was a hansome groom. They made my job easy.
