It’s always a nice change of pace to go to another town to shoot a session. It’s not always nice to be met with a storm once you get there. BUT… but. Sometimes a storm is just what you need to end the shoot with a bang (and 2000 ISO outside at 7pm).
Hey! It’s almost Christmas. Which means I am enjoying lots of down time/wondering what to do with all my down time. I got to work with so many awesome people and shoot sooooo many amazing sessions but I haven’t been blogging any of it! What a shame… So, I’m going to start blogging all this photo goodness and sharing what I’ve been up to over my busy months!
Starting with Shannon and Mathias! This engagement session was shot on one of those cloudy and gross Nebraska days. Sometimes, these clouds roll in and we photographers can just tell that if we have some faith and don’t cancel our sessions because of weather, that the sunset payoff will be totally worth it.
Erika and Brice… Whoa. These two are insanely good looking, sweet, fun, charming, etc etc etc. They’re such great people and I am soooo proud of their engagement session. It turned out so gorgeous, all thanks to these two and their love for each other.
Amy and Dan (and I) share a love of coffee. Amy and Dan also share a love for each other, as you can see in these photos. So, Amy, Dan, a few cups of coffee, true love, and a photographer all spent an afternoon together shooting around the super adorable Blackstone District.
I am in love with this session. One of my favorites this year for several reasons:
1. Ally and David are adorable.
2. Ally and David are very happy.
3. I’m excited for their wedding next summer.4. I like making lists.
5. Ally and David are adorable x 2.
WHOA! I’m sooo excited to share this engagement session. I met up with Tia and Kevin at the location of their first date – Hiro – and then later on we hit up Memorial Stadium for some photos of them soaking up the Husker excitement.
I’m about to drop a blog post on you featuring two of the happiest, best people ever. Meet Kate and Drew. Unfortunately, they aren’t getting married here in Nebraska so my services will be of no further need to them. But I hope to see them again!
YOU GUYS! This session just. It just. Well, it stole my heart. I have known Mindy for many years and I am so freaking excited that her and Cory are having me shoot their wedding next Spring.
Molly and Tyler celebrated their wedding this past weekend! I never blogged their engagement session (whaaaaaat?!) so here it is! Can’t wait to share this wedding too!
Maggie and Chris celebrated their first anniversary recently! They got dolled up and met me downtown for an adorable and fun session.
